Vermeil, Reference Hybrid and Reference Solid Gold speaker cables: The Vermeil Gold speaker cables use 99.99% pure solid silver wire plated with 24K gold to our specifications which vary by gauge. This speaker cable is the culmination of over four hundred different design combinations of wire gauge, gold plating thickness, wire strand counts and combinations. The final design is a dynamic, fully involving cable with a sound stage that is extremely wide and deep with excellent imaging and placement. The bass is deep, clear and fast. In my system the bass appeared to extend an entire octave deeper, as if I had added a sub woofer. These are the first truly fatigue free yet transparent and extended cable I have heard. The treble has a nice "sparkle" without being bright or edgy, just natural and shimmering. It is almost magical to hear the twinkle of the high guitar string with such a natural glisten and shimmer. Of course the midrange is amazing. From the deep lower midrange all the way to the top end, the acoustic naturalness is mesmerizing. Hybrid Gold speaker cables utilize all 99.99% pure solid gold wire in the positive conductor; with both 99.99% pure solid gold and gold plated silver wire in the negative conductor. Reference Solid Gold speaker cables utilize only 99.99% pure solid gold wire for all the conductors, yes 100% gold wire, nothing else!!! |
